You insisted I look through your photo's of other women and you would be happy to call them and see if there was any interest . Since I was going to be in Bangkok for two weeks I didn't mind. But then you decided to call one lady who was registered with your agency but didn't have a photo of her .You also insisted I stay because you felt she would be ideal for me .Not wanting to be rude I agreed. I never believed in matchmakers before but I am living proof that it works. About 20 minutes after you called Nattaya she arrived. She had just come from her business and was wearing jeans and a T-shirt. She walked by me directly in front of me and sat down .My first impression was "Very Pretty " but does she have brains. One thing that did impress me was her demeanor. She did not great me in the traditional Thai way but shook my hand. This impressed me greatly. Since it showed she was very independent and was not subservient. With trepidation I made a date with her to go shopping and dinner for the following day. We arranged to meet at noon. By late in the day I could see she was a woman of class , education and had a solid family background. She was divorced and I asked her why she didn't seek the companionship of a Thai man. She told me she would rather stay single the rest of her life than marry a Thai man again. I didn't pursue that line of conversation. Any way to make a long story short, Nattaya and I agreed to meet the next day. I found her to have one of the most important qualities I wanted in a woman. A great sense of humor. I found myself laughing almost continually with her. The on our third outing we had made arrangements to meet at noon the following day. On the morning of the following day I was downstairs in the hotel coffee shop at around 9 am having breakfast. I figured I had a lot of time until 12 noon. But then all of a sudden I looked up and there she was standing at the table. I was shocked. But my heart started pounding and I had to face up to what I had started to feel the day before. I was starting to fall in love with this woman. I was going to back to the United States in about 10 days and was concerned. I had all these feelings for a woman a barely knew but didn't have a lot of time either. We spent all day and evening together . By the time we had finished dinner that evening it was very late. She said that she would come back to the Hotel with me and stay the night as it was far for her to travel .But made it very clear that there was not going to be any monkey business so to speak. That was fine with me as I was not looking for a one night stand and was also tired. So I agreed. If you post this letter on your web site. I should tell the readers that contrary to what you may think Thai ladies are not loose women and are usually very sincere about what they say and do. Well that morning I woke up and looked over and saw this magnificent woman beside me ( both of us clothed by the way) But realized then that this was the woman I wanted to grow old and gray with. I was in love but was not sure if she felt the same way. I finally got up the courage that day to ask her to marry me. She must have repeated herself five or six times but kept on saying "YES" .

We just CELEBRATED OUR 2ND WEDDING ANNIVERSARY APRIL 1st ( no jokes from the west please) and I am more in love with her today than I have ever been. Nattaya and I are so compatible it's sometimes scary. She was 35 when we met I was 43. My instincts where true to me because she is everything I have ever dreamed of in a woman. Kind, thoughtful ,loving, independent, self assured, very beautiful and very determined. Looking back if I had to do it all over again the answer would be emphatically "YES"
Although I didn't expect you to be a matchmaker you seem to understand people very well and who will get along well. So I thank you for your insight and perseverance.

Bob & Nok. Bob is a gentleman from San Francisco, USA. He is good and sense of humor, generous and very sincere in his search for a Thai wife. Bob arrived in Thailand on Feb 1, 99 and came to use our introduction services and meet the ladies on FEB 2 and 3 and found his special lady since the second day of our introduction on Feb 3 , 99. They never corresponed with each other before since NOk was a new lady who just joined our club for 4 days before Bob's arrival and she is one of the ladies whom we introduced to him. Bob has written to other ladies on the web site before coming to Thailand but end up marrying with Nok who is a new lady and Bob has never written to her before.
