Hello, my name is Roseanne and I live in West Orange, New Jersey. My husband, Dennis, and I have have been married for over 30 years! I took an early "retirement" to raise Jennie and then continued it when my mom retired, so that we could spend time together. I've found a great site where I can find out great advice and information on many different topics that come up. A great page for dieters to visit to become motivated is a page called Three Fat Chicks on a Diet . I'm not joking about the title of this page, it really is what it's called!

Favorite Pasttimes

My favorite website is WMTR, which is located at 1170/1250AM. Visit WMTR's site to check out their programming schedule and much more.

My other favorite radio station is WCBS-fm 101.1. Bob Shannon is one of their DJ's. Visit his web page for some great oldies links!

Another site that I enjoy visiting is Fifties Tunes. If you like music from the fifties, stop by this site and enjoy! I love the music played in the background while I surf this site!

One day I hope to actually visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but for now, I'll have to settle for enjoying their website .

Another great site, devoted to music from the 50's and 60's is Annie's Place .

Visit Ron Smith's Oldies Music Page , which has trivia, information on musical groups, a section on number one songs, and much more.

Collin's Oldies Site . Another great site for those who enjoy oldies music.

One of my favorite television networks is Nick-At-Nite . I'm a big fan of the shows playing on this network and watching them, brings back many memories.

What time is it? If you answered "It's Howdy Doody Time!" as I did, and remember enjoying this show, visit The Howdy Doody Show Online to bring back some happy memories.

If you enjoy fifties music, like I do and enjoy the memoribilia from that era, be sure to go to my favorite restaurant if you can. Stop by Dick Clark's American Bandstand Grill and enjoy the music, the memorabilia surrounding the place, and the food. The food here is great, and reasonably priced! This is a definate place to bring the family, in my opinion.

I love to play Bingo. Join me for a game sometime! This site is a lot of fun, not only can you play Bingo, but you can visit "shops" filled with bingo merchandise, from clothing to perfume! It's a fun place to browse in between games. For the true bingo fans, there is an online newspaper, called The Bingo Bugle that has great information in it!

Precious Moments, Pendelfin's, and Other Collectibles

I began collecting Precious Moments when my daughter started her collection. I don't have many, but the pieces that I do have, are very special to me. I've enjoyed learning about the history of Precious Moments and the various figurines and sharing this knowledge with my daughter and mother. Enesco is the company who produces Precious Moments, along with Cherished Teddies, Memories of Yesterday, and lots of other collectibles.

I am the President of the first online Precious Moments Collectors Club, which is called Sharing the Good News Together . For information on how to join, along with other great club and PM related information, visit this great site!

I also collect Pendelfin Rabbits. They are stoneware rabbits that are manufactured in England. To see a picture of one of my Precious Bunnies, click here. That was a picture of Aunt Ruby, a limited edition Pendelfin rabbit that celebrated the 40th year of this collectible. Another site that has information on Pendelfin Rabbits, can be found here. There aren't many sites that I have found so far that contain information on Pendelfin Rabbits, so if you find one, please share it with me. I'd love to be able to visit it and create a link to their web site.

I have begun to collect, along with everyone in my family, the State Quarters. It's a fun collection and exciting when we find a quarter that we have been searching for.

CookieRecipe.com is a great resource for finding cookie recipes. You can search by ingredient or you can search for a specific cookie. Definately worth checking out!

Country Line Dancing

A new interest of mine is Country Line Dancing. Originally, I took the classes to keep my daughter company, but I'm finding that I'm enjoying it a lot now that I'm catching on!
