Some of my own true stories
Having grown up on a boat and having such
fond memories of it, I talk about it often and have evolved a
reportoire of stories of incidents from those days from aged
twelve, back as far as I can recall - about three. I have a vague
idea of writing a book about it, but as with the majority of such
ideas, it has not quite got off the ground. I'd write from the
eyes of the child I was then, thus eliminating a lot of research.
My idea was to write a enough of these incidents down, form them
into chronological order and call it "Cradle Rocks". My
family and friends have enjoyed reading these stories as I get
around to writing them, so to make it easier for those with
internet access I will post the completed stories here for the
moment. Hopefully I will write more as time goes by.

My Colourful Past
During my time working for EBRD in
Eastern Europe, travelling to really strange places in Central
Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, I tried to keep a diary
to record these events, for myself and, for my friends and family
to get an insight into
what I was doing out there. Over the five years I installed
complete computer systems in more than five offices per year,
ending up with twenty-eight by 1997. In '92 & '93 I was
working on the first dozen, after that it got too hectic to keep
writing regularily.
