The Sonic Anime

 
    First off you may be wondering (if you don't already know) what an anime is. Well, in short it is Animation made by the Japanese. It is cartoons for grown-ups. They vary from cute cartoons to bloody action movies. It's very popular in the far east and is becoming increasingly popular in the U.S.

    So, what about Sonic? Well, Sega made an Anime, a high quality movie spanning two 30 min tapes with a good story. It stars Dr. Eggman (Dr. Robotnik for us in the U.S.), Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and a hot Anime chick. It is like nothing you have ever seen! Many people say this is how Sonic should have looked in a cartoon. It is far different from the saturday morning T.V. Show or the cartoon that ran weekdays. It is pretty much a balance between the two shows, not to dark and not to goofy, just like the games. It's a must for any Sonic fan.

    There is only one problem. You won't be able to find it anywhere. It is purely in Japanese and is even hard to find in Japan! But there is hope! Click on the links below for the translated scripts, a 30 second preview, screen shots, the theme song, and a really cool person who can get you a copy (it wasn't easy finding a person who could make one, believe me).
