T.K. is just a little boy caught up in big and important situations. In light of these problems, T.K. tries to be brave and stand tall. Yet of course, it's hard for a kid to understand that they must save the world! When you're busy doing stuff like that when do you have time to be a kid? All along the way, T.K. tries to impress his big bro, Matt. He really looks up to Matt (not just because of height =)) and inspires to be just like him. T.K. appreciates his brother and hangs onto every word he says. Although it might seem like Matt treats T.K. like a bother instead of a brother, rest assured that they share a very special bond.
T.K. is still a child and therefore is still innocent. T.K.'s innocence leads to his sweet nature, he's always kind to everyone, never fights, and is always willing to share. T.K. is very generous and when he has food he always gives some to everyone. But because he is a little kid, he tends to cry alot. He attempts to be brave and do the right thing but at times it can be too overwhelming for one so young. T.K.'s digipartner is Patamon. Patamon and him get along pretty well, but both can be childish at times. When Matt and Gabumon aren't around, Patamon protects T.K.
In "Prophecy," TK faces a grave challenge when he HAS to order Angemon to shoot at Matt. This was likely one of the hardest moments in his life as he watches Angemon shoot at his beloved brother. Nonetheless, TK proves his dedication to saving the world at that moment. In "Battle for the Earth," we learn that his mother's name in Nancy. TK shows his ability to take care of himself in "Playing Games" when he is forced to play with Puppetmon but manages to escape on his own. In part, this is responsible for Matt leaving the group in the same episode. Throughout the next several episodes TK starts developing a good relationship with Kari and the two work good together. TK even learns some of Tai's bravery in "The Crest of Light" when TK has to distract WaruMonzaemon from Kari. TK also shows good judgement when he leads Sora and Kari to safety in "My Sister's Keeper" when Machinedramon begins destroying the city. In "Joe's Battle," TK gets sent away with Sora to find his brother, Joe, and Mimi, leaving Tai alone against Piedmon.
