I think in order to begin to get a hold on what everyone is supposed to be doing at the Ladders (Yahoo!, Case's, Case's Mountain and maybe soon to follow Divisions), we need "MORE RULES"...

1. You must ignore your everyday life and set aside 21.5 hours to play. (a half hour of your time to defrag and scan your system to keep it running full speed, and 2 hours to eat and take a nap is sufficient)

2. You must NEVER turn on your DND, as turning it on will not allow anyone to send you 120 invites in 1 minute to lock up your PC.

3. You must always be available to play anyone, priority being, the more they insult you or your intelligence and your whole self image, then the more gracious you must be.

4. If you are in the top 200, then you must resign 1 out of 3 matches for no apparent reason, this will aide in the chances of the opppnent climbing to the peak.

5. If you are in the top 100, then you must resign 2 out of 3 matches as you have more invites to answer.

6. If you are in the top 50, then you must resign all 3 out of 3 matches with a forfeit and tell them your system froze on you, this gives you time to try to explain why you declined the first 100 out of 120 invites from one player.

7. If you become one of the higher rung players at any time, you must go public and tell the "ENTIRE LADDER COMMUNITIES" how you "KISSED ASS" to get there.

8. You must NEVER HAVE FUN in any way shape or manner i.e. no talking, no laughing, no making friends, no saving of games to put the baby down, no talking on the phone, quit your job, no radio or tv in the background, send the kids to the gran-parents, leave your significant a note telling them to not disturb you until you are at least down to 201.

9. Imposters have first preferance at a match with someone that uses their real nic, it is appreciated if you decline them a few times to really get them wild enough to insult you, your spouse, your kids, your mom and dad, to threaten to bomb you at work - you don't belong working anyway, threaten to steal your car.

I know these rules seem quite simply and most of us use them now but maybe we need them voted on to be sure that no one sways to the extreme of "FUN"...
