MACROSS II: LOVERS AGAIN
Hibiki
A young reporter who only cares about "the story." He covers a major news story only to find out that the military does a lot to cover up the real truth about the alien invasion. Caught up in a major skirmish, he discovers the Marduk emulator Ishtar. He and Sylvie join up to try to force the military to face the reality of the Marduk threat before it's too late.
Ishtar
A Marduk Emulator who uses a song to goad the Zentraedi slaves to battle. She is taken by Hibiki to Earth and discovers the real beauties of song and human culture. She tries to stop the Marduk lord.
Sylvie Gene
A variable fighter pilot, she is exposed by Hibiki in scandal. The course of events teams them up so they go try to rescue Ishtar, stop the Marduk, and save the Earth.
