Macross II: Lovers again (four part series and movie)
Eighty years after the first war with the Zentraedi, a new enemy arises. They are the Marduk, and they control the Zentraedi singing emulators. The Marduk are bent on destroying Earth and all humanity. Hibiki, a young reporter manages to find himself mixed up with a Marduk emulator, Ishtar. After seeing the beauty of Earth's culture, she switches sides and joins to help Hibiki and Sylvie save Earth.
