Millia Falyna/Miriya Parino was one bad girl you didn't want to mess with. She piloted the most formidable Zentraedi mecha, The Quadrono female powered body armor. She was the first officer of the elite Meltrandi QuadronosIt was the only mecha that could match the Variable fighters. Millia was undefeated in battle. She had a long illustrious career among the Zentraedi. Beauty was never an asset among the Menltrandi, it was one's ferocity as a warrior. And fierce she was. That was another spectacular part of Macross, a woman so assertive, piloting the coolest mecha. Millia was a proud warrior, she worked hard so why shouldn't she enjoy it? One thing that she agreed with Khyron was that the humans could easily be destroyed and were no match with the might of the Zentraedi. But BaDolza wanted the ship intact. After tormenting Khryon about his incompetence, he challenged her that there was a human pilot that even she could not beat. Soon after she decided to prove him wrong and launched an attack. Being the best meant more than anything to Millia and soon she located that superb pilot, Maximillian Jenius. She singled him out in a dazzling dog fight. She brings the fight into the streets of the SDF-1. There, Max forces her into retreat. For the first time in Millia's life she tasted defeat and it wasn't a taste that would leave her any time soon after.

Unable to concentrate on any other mission, Millia asked to be a spy. She confesses that she cannot be of any use until she vanquishes her arch enemy. Her superior officer Lap Lamiz/Azonia finally grants her permission. Even as Millia is undergoing the micronization she obsesses about her defeat because her entire being depends upon it. In a the chaos of a battle, Millia is inserted inside the SDF-1. She has to fend for herself in Macross city as she searches down her opponent not knowing what he would look like. All that she knows is that he must be a celebrated warrior, especially for defeating the fiercest of Quadronos. At a movie premiere she thought it might be Lynn Kyle for his spectacular martial arts skills. So she hunted him down until an onboard battle where she spied that same Variable Fighter who humiliated in that same ship. She knew she would find him somewhere.

As she struggled to find her way among the humans. Extremely attractive, she managed to avoid the advances by human males aboard the SDF-1. Millia discovered what she deemed to be a training center for pilots. At the arcade she was able to polish her piloting maneuvers and earn money by playing the games. While she was practicing shooting Zentraedi mecha, a young man worked up the nerve to come up to ask her to play. Seeing his tokens she considered that he might be an interesting match. She asked him whether he wanted to bet his earnings though she had twice as much. That showed just how confident she was. She noticed his uniform, but his small frame and un-warrior like demeanor dsicounted him quickly. They began the game and in the first level he beat her. Millia was chagrinned, then he winked at her which upset her even more. On the next level, which was the most advance, she began to really play. It was no easy win, in fact the young player seemed to have an upper edge. Those maneuvers seemed eerie, exactly like the maneuvers she struggled against in that dog fight. She found herself in the same pattern and then she knew she relived that battle on the streets of Macross. Just as her jet pack was blasted, her VF fighter was blasted in the holoscreen. In five minutes she was bit. The crowd raved. Millia turned to leave, but the young soldier grabbed her hand. He asked her to meet him in the park Millia now convinced that she had found that pilot knew that would be her chance. And the whole ordeal could be over.

Millia saw him wait in the park, and armed with two knives, she set to end her humiliation. He would know who she was, and then she would kill him. She fought fiercely in the park, though for the most part he weaponless evaded her. Nearly cutting short his life, he finally armed himself with a knife lodged in a tree. The strangest knife fight ensued, till finally she lost her blade and once again she faced defeat. Not only was she defeated, but she was trapped on the enemy ship. Tears of loss, anguish, anger, and humiliation fall from her eyes and she sinks to the ground. With everything lost to her, she begs that he end her life. Instead of anger, instead of the bite of the blade, her arch enemy lifts her chin up to gaze upon her. She sees that gentle look that humans share between each other, a gentle look. He says that he can't and she's too beautiful. The most unexpected reaction to her murderous intentions, something quite human, it was forgiveness. As if floating, she found herself in his arms, and in a weakness that was so human, they embraced and kissed. Max wiped away her tears and proposed to the Meltrandi warrior. She agreed not knowing what it was, then he explained what love was.

Millia left the Quadrono world behind and began a new life aboard the SDF-1. After that night in the park she discovered all the wonders of life with the humans. Their wedding plans began immediately and it was a big bash. The dress, the flowers, and the celebrations were delightful to her. And no sooner than the real festivities begun were they attacked again. Understanding her vows, she could not wait safely while Max went off to fight. She swore to be by his side till death did them part. And for her there was no greater ending. Instead of killing, she showed her mate how to disarm Zentraedi craft. The battle ended and the newlyweds returned to the SDF1 to their new quarters. Millia's first attempt at domesticity proved unsuccessful as she managed to start a fire while making coffee. She wanted to perform all the duties that a wife would, but Max assured her that the cooking should be left to him.

Soon after their marriage, a truce was struck between a faction of the Zentraedi fleet and the SDF-1. But they learned of the impending destruction at the hands of BaDolzas grand fleet. Millia looked to her mournful husband who was saddened that they just found each other and then it seemed everything would be ending. But she assured him that being by his side was all that mattered: that they would fight by each other's side. In the final battle they fought like a pair of death angels. The battle swung in humanity's favor, though much of Earth was destroyed.

Returning to Earth, Millia now a wife joined the effort of rebuilding. Soon, she found herself a mother of an adorable little girl named Komillia. Max showed her all the beauties of human life and the peace of home and family. It was something so new to Zentraedi. She served in the military as Max's wing mate and was involved in a dangerous mission to gain the factory Satellite.

After thirty years, Millia never lost her edge. She fought bravely to defend humanity and Zentraedi alike, she trained young pilots, and became Mayor of City 7. After seven children, she had not aged a bit. With a new hair cut and a bit more hardened, her relationship was suffering. Though officially separated from her husband, she still takes pride in her family and has no regrets. She tries to conceal her love for Max, but it still shows.

Well, who knows what new romance lies in store for the old couple, eh?
