This time around I have the following observations that we can learn from the Japanese:

Japanese Space Management

When the OIC participants goes for a site visit, the OIC bus has an additional row of central aisle seats to pack in more people.
When the Japanese remodel the oriental paper fan, she came up with the idea of the folded paper fan to save space. 
The Sony Walkman is another of Japan’s invention to save space. 
All this is because Japan has 130 million people but very little flat land.

OIC

OIC is still being very well kept and maintained. When the typhoon came and rain soaked up certain parts of the floor, OIC just replaced those squares, (the 1ft by 1ft carpet pieces) with new carpet pieces.
 

Each class comprises between 8-12 participants from many countries. It is a very good experience studying in OIC because it can enrich one another.
