Ground Lamb with Peas
INGREDIENTS
- 450g fresh lean ground lamb
- 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
- 6 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 fresh red chillies (de-seeded & chopped)
- 1 bunch cilantro (chopped)
- 1 onion (sliced thin)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp ginger (chopped fine)
- 1 clove garlic (crushed)
- 1 tsp chilli powder

To prepare:
- Heat oil in pan
- Add in onion slices and cook till golden brown
- Add red chillies and 1/2 of cilantro and tomatoes
- Reduce heat to a simmer
- Add salt, ginger, garlic and chilli powder to mixture and stir well
- Add ground lamb to pan
- Stir-fry mixture for 7 to 10 mins
- Add peas and cook for another 3 to 4 mins
- Stir occasionally
- Transfer mixture to a warm serving plate and garnish with remaining cilantro
