Chinese Recipe for Pork with Plum Sauce
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
- 1 large onion (cut into wedges)
- 1 lb pork loin (cut into thin slices)
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 1/4 cup plum sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp hoisin sauce
- salt & pepper

To prepare:
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in wok and stir-fry onion and garlic till softened
- Remove and set aside
- Coat eat piece of pork lightly in cornflour and season well with salt and pepper
- Add 2 tbsp of oil into wok and when it is very hot, stir-fry pork in batches till golden brown
- Set aside
- Add plum sauce, soy and hoisn sauce to wok
- Add in garlic, onion and pork to wok
- Toss well to coat the meat and serve immediately with rice
