Korean Recipe for Spicy Chilled Beef (Jang Jo Rim)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 3 ginger slices
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 cup light soy sauce
  • 10 garlic cloves
  • 5 Korean chilli peppers

TIP: Korean Chilli Peppers are skinny, long and midlly spicy. When ripe, Korean chilli peppers turn into a beautiful, bright red color. They can be sliced into thin threads as an attractive garnish. If you cannot find this, subsitute with Jalapeno peppers instead.
