Free Recipe for Spicy Thai Beef Salad
INGREDIENTS FOR SPICY THAI BEEF
- 500g/ 1lb rump or sirloin steak
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 small soft-leaved lettuce
- 200g / 6 1/2oz cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cucumber (cut into cubes)
- 4 spring onions (chopped)
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves
DRESSNG INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tspn sweet chilli sauce
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)

To prepare:
- Brush steak with oil and heat a heavy based frying pan/wok over high heat
- Add steak to pan, cook for about 4 minutes each side, turning steak once only
- Remove from pan, set aside
- Cut cooled steak into very thin slices
- Place on bed of lettuce leaves on a serving plate and arrange cherry tomatoes, cucumber, spring onion and strips of steak on top
- Drizzle with dressing and scatter over coriander leaves
To prepare dressing:
- Combine fish sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, garlic and coriander in bowl
- Mix well
- Serve immediately
