Free Chinese chicken with chilli and lime sauce recipe. Learn to cook easy chinese food recipes quickly and easily. Spicy Malaysian Recipe for Grilled Chicken with Spicy Peanut Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 6 small fresh ginger (unpeeled)
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (peeled)
  • 4 scallions (sliced)
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce

To prepare:

  • Mince ginger and garlic in food processor
  • Add scallions, pulse so to become fine chop
  • In a shallow dish, combine this mixture and 3 tbsp of soy sauce and oil
  • Add chicken, turn to coat completely
  • Cover and marinate in fridge for 20 mins to 1 hour
  • In a small bowl, combine peanut butter, broth and remaining 2 tbsp soy sauce, red pepper flakes and sugar
  • Set aside
  • Grill chicken till done
  • Serve with peanut sauce and steamed veggies of your choice
