Korean Recipe for Barbeque Chicken
INGREDIENTS
- 2 lbs chicken thighs and breasts (bones removed)
Marinade Sauce
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 teaspoons hot chilli paste
TIP: If you wish the dish to be less spicy, use 1 tsp of hot chilli paste or omit entirely.

To prepare:
- Using a small pot, add in all the ingredients for the marinade sauce except for the lemon juice and
hot chilli paste
- Bring everything to a boil then reduce and simmer for 5 mins
- Remove from heat and let cool
- Add in the lemon juice and hot chilli paste
- Stir everything till well blended
- Arrange chicken pieces onto a flat container and pour in marinade sauce
- Marinade overnight or at least four hours
- Grill or broil chicken till cooked then serve immediately
