Free Food Recipes for Thai Kale Salad
INGREDIENTS
- 300 gm grated coconut
- 2 stalks galangal
- 5 shallots
- 1 tsp shrimp paste
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup palm sugar
- dried roasted peanut
- dried shrimp
- fresh ginger , diced
- fresh shallot , diced
- mango , diced
- bird chillie
To be use as a Thai food side dish

To prepare:
- Dry-roasted coconut until light brown then pound it
- Grind galangal, shallot and shrimp paste in a blender
- Combine mixture with sugar, palm sugar and coconut in a boiling pot
- Stir till sticky
- Serve using side dish as a wrap, top with gravy
This dish is best served as an appetizer. This is a vegetarian dish, however, it does contain shrimp paste. If you are a pure vegetarian then this dish may not be suitable for you, or you may try to make this without the shrimp paste.
