Free Asian Recipe for Cooking Indian Paneer ( Cottage Cheese )
INGREDIENTS
- 3 litres milk
- 90 ml/ 6 tbsp lemon juice (vinegar - optional)

To prepare:
- In a pot, put milk to boil
- Just before it reaches boiling point, add lemon juice or vinegar to curdle the milk
- Strain the curdled milk through a muslin cloth
- Allow all whey and moisture to drain
- Place still wrapped paneer under a weight for about 2 to 3 hours
- Allow paneer to set into blocks
- Cut cottage cheese into blocks and store
TIP: Paneer can also be grated and sprinkled on top of most curries.
