Sago Pudding
INGREDIENTS
- 8 oz sago (1/2 packet)
- 6 oz brown sugar
- 6 oz can coconut milk
- 32 oz water
- Pandan leaves (optional)
- 1 can tropical fruits (you can also use very ripe sweet bananas)
This is a delicious dessert dish which can be eaten hot or cold.

To prepare:
- In a big pot, boil the water
- Put sugar and pandan leaves (optional) into boiling water
- Add in sago, stir periodically to ensure that the sago does not stick to the bottom (prevent being burnt)
- Make sure the water is always boiling
- Cooked the sago until transparent in colour (usually after 30 to 40 minutes)
- Turn off heat, then stir in coconut milk
- Serve it hot or let cool then chill in fridge
- Top with your favourite fruit
