Vietnamese Recipe for Fish Fillets with Dill and Tomato or Ca Nau Ngot

INGREDIENTS FOR FISH FILLETS WITH DILL AND TOMATO

  • 6 cups of chicken stock
  • 1 1/4 lbs fish fillets (cut into large chunks)
  • 2 medium tomatoes (cut into wedges)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • fresh dill (garnis)

TIP: Use any fish fillet that you want so long as they are firm and fresh.

To prepare:

  • Bring chicken stock to boil in a pot
  • Add fish fillets into the pot and simmer for 5 mins
  • Skim the top for scum and discard
  • Add in the tomatoes
  • Season with salt and pepper and dill
  • Cook for a few more seconds then remove from heat
  • Scoop into a large bowl and garnish with fresh dill just before serving
