Malaysian recipe for Steamed Rice with Screwpine Leaves (Nasi Ambang)


INGREDIENTS

  • 600g rice
  • 2 screwpine leaves (knotted)
  • 2 cups water

Use this recipe as an alternative to cooking normal steamed rice. The screwpine leaves (daun pandan) adds a unique flavor.

  • In a rice cooker, add the rice and water
  • Toss in the knotted screwpine leaves
