Japanese Vinaigrette

INGREDIENTS

  • 120 mL cup white vinegar
  • 60 mL salad oil
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tsp grilled white sesame seeds
  • a couple of dashes of MSG (optional but recommended)
  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • 1 punnet alfalfa sprouts
  • 1 coral lettuce
For authentic flavour, use Japanese products.

To prepare:

  • Mix vinegar, oil, soy sauce, sesame seeds and MSG in a bowl
  • Tear all vegetables into salad size bites
  • Arrange salad into bowl
  • Pour vinagerette on salad and do not toss
  • Serve as an appetizer or side dish
