Chinese Seafood Won Ton Noodles Free Recipe
Seafood, chicken and pork chinese won ton noodles free recipes plus over 100 other asian seafood, chicken and pork recipes. Try this tasty shangai noodle recipe for cooking seafood. You may wish to prepare this as a seafood dish or substitute the shrimp with chicken or pork. Either way this will make an authentic chinese won ton noodle dish. Experiment and try this recipe with your choice of meat. If you'd like an extremely easy recipe then pre-made wonton noodles may be bought from the store.
INGREDIENTS FOR CHINESE SEAFOOD WONTON NOODLES
For shrimp wonton
- 1/3 lb raw, shelled shrimp
- 1/4 tsp rice wine
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp MSG (optional)
- 1/4 cup bamboo shoot - diced
- 1 tsp chopped ginger root
- 30 won ton skins
Boil together: for soup
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 1 tsp rice wine (optional)
- 1 1/2 tbs salt
- 1 tsp shredded ginger root
Mix together: for seasoning
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 chopped green onion
- 250 gm egg noodles
Shrimp may be subsituted
with chicken or pork.

To prepare:
- Rinse and de-vein shrimp then drain and cut each into 3 pieces
- Mix prawns with
rice win, salt, cornstarch and MSG
- Add bamboo shoot and chopped ginger
root, mixing thoroughly
- Taking one won ton skin, put a teaspoon of filling in
the center
- Trace water with fingertips along edge and fold over to form
triangle with filling in the center
- Bring the two outside corners together
and using another drop of water, pinch the 2 edges together to seal
- Boil 6 cups of water in a pot
- Add won ton and green vegetable and cover
- Remove won ton when they rise to the surface
- Set aside vegetables
To serve:
- Boil ingredients for soup stock
- Boil egg noodles in boiling water for 1 minute and place in bowl
- Add seasoning, mixing well
- Divide noodles into portions and place each portion in a bowl
- Place 4 to 5 won ton and a little vegetables in each bowl
- Ladle boiling soup over
I usually like to put fried shallots and spring onions as garnish.
For those who love spice with their meal, include a dish with cut fresh red chillies
with soy sauce.
