Today's Organization of Pilipino

Beginning in the Spring of 1993, a group of friends felt a need to form a group that would serve the community and also educate the public of the Pilipino Culture. Though only in existence for a short while, Today's Organization of Pilipino's accomplishments and achievements are outstanding. As a club, we have participated in cultural affairs in association with Long Beach City College from performing for the Mayor's Inauguration to performing for school children during cultural events. Through the leadership of T.O.P.'s founders and alumni, Christopher Navarro and Meredith Elguira, the pioneer members of T.O.P. have built a solid foundation for future young adults to seek Pilipino heritage and gain pride in themselves.
