Liu Qing and Liu Hong are brother and sister. They are Swallow's two best friends (Zi Wei and Jing Shou later joined the gang and they became a four some). Since both them and Swallow are orphans they have been best friends since Swallow was very young. Liu Qing and Liu Hong are kind of like Swallow's own sister and brother. They grew up together and the three of them are very close. Both Liu Qing and Liu Hong know a little Kun-Fu and Liu Qing taught some Kun-Fu to Swallow too! Liu Qing and Liu Hong became a big part of Zi Wei and Jing Shou's life too, when Zi Wei and Jing Shou moved in with Swallow (see chapter 2 translation). Liu Qing and Liu Hong are very loyal friends, they would practically die for Swallow, Zi Wei and/or Jing Shou and in return Swallow, Zi Wei and Jing Shou would do the same for them. SPOILER ALTER! Jing Shou and Liu Qing became especially close in Huan Zhu Ge Ge II when they got married!!!! Jing Shou moved out of the palace and lived with Liu Qing and Liu Hong in their restaurant.
