My
Fair Princess
Greetings!
Glad to see you coming here to have a look on "My Fair Princess". This
is a serial based
on the novel written by "Qiong Yao". Based in the Qing Dynasty, the show
had become one of my favourite show although I usually don't like to watch
shows written by her. This is because it is always full of tears and abit
bored (This is my opinion. Please pardon me if you are a fan of her). Anyway,
this show is not as "sad" as previous shows and it is actually quite funny
in a way. I especially like the character "XiaoYanZi" (Little Swallow).
She is a girl who is mistaken for a 
princess
but as she is "tomboyish", she keeps having trouble in the palace but her
father (Emperor Qianlong) likes her very much. The show has just ended
its run on and this show is
very popular in Taiwan and China. As a result, My Fair Princess 2 has already
started its filming.
Brief summary on the story:

XiaoYanZi
is a orphan and makes a living by cheating other people in Beijing. One
day, she met Ziwei and her maid Jinshuo who came from Jinan and through
some meetings, she and Ziwei became sworn sisters. The fact is that Ziwei
is the daughter of the Emperor Qianlong and she travelled all the way from
Jinan to Beijing just to acknowledge her father. But because her father
is a emperor and lives in the palace, it is very difficult for her to meet
her father. This is when XiaoYanZi told her that Qianlong is going for
hunting and this is a chance for her to tell him the truth. But the place
where Qianlong is going for hunting is forbidden to people, XiaoYanZi decided
to climb the mountain with Ziwei
and Jinshuo to get to the hunting place. As Ziwei is a delicate girl and
does not have the energy to climb, XiaoYanZi decided to climb the mountain
alone. In the meantime, Qianlong and his companions had arrived at the
place. The fifth prince (YongQi) and his two best friends, Fu Er Kang and
Fu Er Tai (brothers) are competing with each other to see who shoots the
deer first. YongQi aims at the deer and shoots at it but the arrow does
not hit the deer but XiaoYanZi who had arrived. The arrow hits XiaoYanZi
at the chest and she was 
seriously
injured.....
