  1. 33:1 The third word, asher, is not a pashta, but rather a kadma.

  2. There is a difference of opinion as to where the accent should be placed on Vayete. The Aleppo Codex and the Leningrad Codex have only a single Pashta on Vayete, indicating that it is milra (accented on the last syllable), while other versions show otherwise.

  3. Before reading the last Pasuk of the Torah, the reader should pause and give the congregation a chance to stand (noisily). When everything has quieted down he should start reading.
