Absolutely Fabulous Tv Show Description:

Absolutely Fabulous was a BBC comedy tv show about a "wacky" mother who acts like a "flower child" from the sixties and her politically correct daughter. Other charachters include the mother's best friend, her son, and occasionally, her ex-husbands.

Absolutely Fabulous Trivia:

Patsy had a sex change operation and spent one year as a man but, "it fell off". (See "Morocco" - Episode #9)

The idea for the tv series was from a sketch on "French and Saunders". The episode title was "Modern Mother and Daughter.

60 minutes aired a segment about how popular Absolutely Fabulous is in the United States on May 21, 1995.

Justin was Saffron's father. Marshall was Serge's father. Serge is not listed in the cast credits because while he was often mentioned, he never appeared on the show.

Roseanne Barr purchased the rights to produce an American version of the tv series in the United States, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Absolutely Fabulous won two Emmy's and one "British Oscar".

Patsy got her job with a fashion magazine by sleeping with the publisher.

Edina got alimony from both of her ex-husbands, but in episode #6, "Birthday", they discovered that she was "double-dipping" and cut her off.
