Farscape Tv Show Description:
This was a sci-fi series about Commander John Crichton who was accidentally
thrown through a wormhole into an unknown galaxy during the testing of a
spaceship that he developed with a new form of propulsion. He ended out on a
prisoner ship trying to escape from local law enforcement officials. He joined
with the prisoners and the exciting series of episodes began!

Farscape Tv Show Trivia:
Kent McCord who also starred on the Galactica 1980 show as Lt Troy, was cast on this program as John Crichton's father Jack.
Ever wonder how John Crichton can understand the others? Within minutes of being brought aboard Moya, a DRD injected him with translator microbes. They enabled his brain to process all of the others' languages!
Crichton did not design the Farscape Project alone. He did it with his friend "DK".
John had a Doctorate in Theoretical Science.
John Crichton actually worked for the IASA (International Aeronautics and Space Administration?). We know this because he had an IASA patch on his uniform. This is a little confusing however since his uniform insignia has the American flag on it and his ship had "United States" written on it.
As no humans had ever been seen in the timeline previous to the first episodes of Farscape, Crichton was at first mistaken for a Sebacean. They closely resemble humans. The major difference is that Sebaceans come from a cold planet and can't handle heat as well as humans.
John named his gun. He calls it "Winona".
DRD is an acronym for "Diagnostic Repair Darter".
The Farscape ship, "Moya" is alive and comes from a race of aliens called "Leviathans".
