After a serious search of the Internet forums, I found a paucity of quality information groups in some of my fields of interest. For this reason, I set up groups that would meet certain criteria:

• They would help me find the information that I need
• They would be presented and organizd in a professional manner

Most of these groups are moderated. That means that the messages are reviewed before they are posted to the subscribers. As a result, postings are delayed until the next time that I am at my computer.

Parallel Jewish groups

Many Jewish groups parallel the international groups in this section. The Jewish groups are often smaller, since they cater to a niche audience. Some examples are as follows:

• Transcribing or Grandscribing, and Jewish Offices
• Word Fun and Jewish Word Fun
• Translation Teacher and Jewish Translation Teacher
