Post a New Message
Posting Guidelines:
1. List Topic - The topic of this list is
sharing leads, making
contacts, networking and improving your marketing efforts. Please
keep your posts to these topics and do not use the list as a
clearinghouse for unrelated announcements.
2. Personal Replies - If you "Reply to All" in your email program, the reply
will go to the whole list, otherwise it will only go to the sender of the
message. When requesting
personal replies to your post, include your email address in the body
of your message to make it easy for people to respond.
3. One-Liners - Refrain from sending one-line responses
like "congratulations" and "go for it" and "thank you" to the list.
These messages are more appropriately sent as personal replies.
4. Deleting Previous Message - When replying to a post, take the
time to delete the previous message(s) if it is appended to your
reply. If there is information in the message that is relevant to
your reply, by all means leave it in. If you do not do this, people
receiving the digest version of this list must scroll through each
one of these appended messages to see the next new post.
Additionally, it increases the download time for people with slower
connections.
5. Job Postings (or anything regional) - Please
include the location/county in the subject line to help people identify what is
relevant to them. For example "Senior Engineer Needed [Camarillo]".
