William Magee (Billy) Roberson was the younger brother of Thomas Walker Roberson. William was born in the Franklin County area of Tennessee, on October 14, 1819 and lived to be 91. He died on November 1, 1910 at his home near Duffau, Texas. He was a War Scout and a Methodist Layman. He married Prudence W. (Prudy) Rainwater Collie on June 25, 1840. William and Prudy had ten children, seven boys and three girls. William was reared from an early age by his elder brother, Thomas. After Prudence passed away, William married Elizabeth Raney. They had no children.
