Daniel Eichenbaum's Music

The following is a sample of music I've written and had
performed here at Penn State and other locations. Scores, recordings, and
parts are available on request for almost all of these works. For more
information about any of these pieces, or if you're interested in commissioning
a new and innovative work for your ensemble, please Email
me!
Due to heavy network traffic and requests from visitors to download sound files, the sound links on this page now download to your computer before playback. This eliminates audio break-up from network traffic and allows you, the visitor, to save these files to your hard drive. Remember, however, all works are copyrighted and may not be rebroadcast without permission from the composer. Enjoy the music!

Here is a live reading of my first large ensemble
work by the Penn State Symphonic Band. It's not your typical Sousa
March, it has color, energy, spirit, and a theme you won't soon forget.
By the end of the piece, you will definitely agree the March earns its
name:
The Triumphant
A March for Concert Band

In the tradition of John Williams (Star Wars, E.T.),
Jerry Goldsmith (Alien, Star Trek), and James Horner (Apollo 13) I'd like
to present my version of a movie soundtrack theme. Unfortunately, I have
not finished this piece yet nor has anyone actually performed it. However,
I have digitized it in WAV format using my Roland JV-1080 and JV-880. I'm
sure you will agree, this piece is truly:
