Henry, my husband, sitting South, opened 1 doubled by West. Holding the North hand, I redoubled [redouble shows at least ten points and may not have a fit]. East jumped to 4. Henry at this point fell in love with his hand and bid 5. I naturally bid 5 which West doubled. East (who has no defense) bid 5. Henry doubled. Everyone was writing down the score as I now bid 6. West incredulously doubled and laid down his A. Top board, folks!

Here's Henry, me in the middle
and on my left is D. K. Witt,
my bridge mentor from Dallas.
He taught me a lot of bridge
and is a very dear friend.
