MACRO PROCRASTINATION POLICY
You will be notified via email regarding the last day to take exams and submit quiz answers and your Wall Street Journal project. Although you should strive to complete the course on a timely basis so as to avoid the need for an extension of time, students who have successfully completed a significant portion of their coursework and are passing may be eligible for an extension of time. This is done by assigning a temporary grade of incomplete, which is grade-point neutral and provides the student with an extension of time to complete the course.

Note the following conditions for the assignment of incomplete grades, taken from the current TCC catalog: "Incomplete grades may be assigned provided the student is passing the course and has completed a substantial portion of the coursework for the semester."

If this occurs, the student will have until the end of the next long (i.e., sixteen-week)semester to finish the course. Upon completion your instructor will initiate a grade change procedure. Note that it takes the College two to three weeks to process a grade change. TCC's policy is that a student who has not completed the class by the end of the next long semester will retain the Incomplete grade on a permanent basis. Incomplete grades are GPA neutral.
