I too was a victim of domestic violence....abused by the hand of a man I thought I loved and who I thought loved me...but love isn't supposed to hurt...we need to realize that and get out of an abusive situation before the abuse turns to murder...
The statistics today are startling...So many women and men are being abused and murdered by the people who they thought loved them...and would never hurt them...its a shame that people have to live in fear of the ones they love.
I'm starting
a campaign for survivors and victims as well to help stop the silence and
put an end to the violence! The angel I have supplied on this page
is in memory of Barbara...gunned down when she was just starting to live...murdered
by a monster who she thought was her prince but who turned out to be a
devil in disguise. Please feel free to take the angel and place it
on your page in memory of her and as a reminder as to what can happen if
you allow yourself to stay in an abusive relationship.

Part two of my campaign are the candles you see supplied below...the candle with the ribbon is a symbol of your survival of abuse...it signifies that you survived and got out of a situation that was detrimental not only to you but if you have children to them also! Display this candle on your page to show your courage and strength...let the world know the courage and bravery you display!! Lets stop the silence and end the violence before its too late!! The other candle signifies your support for the cause if you aren't a survivor...lets all take part in this and try to stamp out this violence!
