In my spare time, I enjoy surfing the net, working on my web page, and reading. There is nothing like curling up with a good book to escape for a short time. I love spending time with my family, but I like my time alone as well. I'm not much into sports, but I can handle baseball. I have never been able to understand the reasoning behind football. I mean, why would you want to knock heads with someone, fall on top of them, help them up, smack them on the butt, and start all over again? *lol* I just don't get it.
I am a romantic at heart. There's nothing I love more than a good love story-whether it be a movie or a book. I believe in happy endings, miracles, and Santa Claus. I try to see the good in everyone and every situation, although, at times that can be quite difficult.
I can be as tough as nails, but I have a soft side as well. I am always for the underdog. I hate to see people taken advantage of or hurt. I love kids, and would have a houseful if I could afford them. My dream is to one day become involved in foster parenting. I hate abuse of any kind, but especially child abuse. That can throw my blood pressure off the top of the charts in no time. No punishment is severe enough for a child abuser in my opinion.
