^DEATH^
Here are some not so happy poems. These most refect some of my deepest feelings.
DEATH
You want me to fear you
But you are weak
The only strength you possess
Comes from sadness and grief

Whether the hell or the heavens
I guess it's my time
But I will not fear you
It is a good day to die
GRANDFATHER
My pain is hidden
I do not share
I cry inside
It's hard to bare
You were weak
I am strong
I am sad
To know your gone
There is much unsaid
I wish to say
The hurt hasn't stopped
Since that day
I feel empty inside
But full at heart
You loved me from
The very start
Although I will never
Lose the pain
I know that we will meet again
And when that very day does come
All the hurt will be undone
Dedicated to my Grampa N. you are dearly missed.
THE OLD OAK TREE
In a room of isolation
Admist a world of despair
I look upon my past relations
And see what was once there
As the icy hands of death
Ring its toll upon thee
I look back to the swing we shared
Still hanging from the tree
The leaves now brown and brittle
The trunk rotting away
Once upon a time, apon
that tree we would play
As the clock strikes past the hour
And the minutes grow more few
I remember the old oak tree, grampa
And I remember yo
Thinking of you
Brings tears to my eyes
Your no longer here
To share my cries
Your smiling face
I still see
I wish you were
Here with me
Memories of you
I'll always hold
But now your gone
My hearts turned cold
The warmth you
Always expressed
To me you never
Showed much less
Your voice was gentle
As a breeze
Your hands so soft
When they touched me

ALWAYS REMEMBERED
You were so special
Loved for all you were
Knew by all that loved you
As generous and pure
Now you have left us
And although your out of pain
That does not ease the anguish
Of never seeing you again
Adored by all who knew you
For your sweetness and your love
for your boys and your family
For almost anyone
Your selflessness and caring
Even at the end
Proves how unique you were
You were everyone's bestfriend
You will always be remembered
You memory will not fade
In our hearts you will stay as alive
As if you were here today
Dedicated to Linda Young, my aunt, my friend, an angel
THE DAY I DIE
One day we will meet again
In that place above the sky
On the day we meet again
I will dry my eyes

My tears will dissapear
To be replaced with happiness
One day we will meet again
The day I am put to rest

I hope you will wait for me
Greet me with a smile
One day we will meet again
But it may take a while

And although the day we reunite
Will be the day I die
It will also be the day I start
To truly feel alive
