OTHER POEMS
Here are some other poems on various things that I found interesting.
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.
Tomorrows are our dreams
Todays are our happiness
Yesterdays are our memories

Yesterdays are our tomorrows gone by
Tomorrows are our todays yet to come
Todays are forever

Cherish today, because tomorrow
You may not be able
And yesterday is too late
Because tomorrows are yesterdays todays

Bombs crash as the sunlight fades
They kneel in the trenches and silently pray
The rats spread over the floor of the pit
As the wounded and hurt grow increasingly sick
Guns crack through the silent sky
As women and children distantly cry
As bodies fall like dominos
Minute by minute the death toll grows
The piercing wind grows colder fast
As the iron canons loudly blast
The hospital lies a mile away
It grows fuller with each passing day
A child lies in a pool of blood
Shot in the head by a man with a gun
A woman looks down on her husbands face
As his final tear is swept away
Now many years later
The memory lives on
The war may be over
But the pain is not gone
And as we bow our heads
And silently pray
A flower's being placed
On somebodies grave
THERE IS
Where there is a will, there is a way
Where there is night, there is day
What goes up, must come down
What is lost, must be found
What is old, was once new
What is many, was once few
Where there is death, there is life
Where there is a husband, there is a wife
Where there is laughter, there are tears
Where there is sorrow, there are fears
Where there is love, there is hate
Our world this does make
ANOTHER
WORLD
Is there another world
Where the sky is always blue
Where the birds are always singing
And the grass is grazed with dew

Is there another world
With peace throughout the land
Where children laugh with happiness
As they place beneath the sand
Is there another world
Where the poor are rich
Where life is eternal
And your granted every wish

Is there another world
Where love is always true
Where hearts can't be broken
And a kiss is so brand new
Is there another world
Where the hungry are full
Where the sick are well
And there's love throughout the globe

Is there another world
Where the fat are thin
Where all the games are played for fun
And you always win

Is there another world
Where you never shed a tear
Where life is full of happiness
And your never full of fear

Is there another world
Where prejudice has no grounds
Where everyone is equal
And you all just get along

Is there another world
Where the water glistens bright
Where all the doors are kept unlocked
Each and every night

Is there another world
Way above the sky
Is there another place
And is it hard to find

If your in this other world
And this all is true
I'd like to leave this broken world
And come and stay with you
I carry the weight of the world
Upon my weiry arms
At times I feel I'm getting close
At times I feel so far
As the clouds darken around me
The fear only builds
Everybody expects me
To heal the pain they feel
Well my friend let me tell you
I cannot handle pain
I listen to your problems
And I would do it again
But don't expect me to help you
For I am too confused
The world is full of sadness
And there's nothing I can do
If you need a friend
I am always here
But please remember, I am only human
I must also shed some tears
INDIVIDUALS
(take a stand)
What is the world coming too
You may think your not involved
It has nothing to do with you
Why should you recycle
Someone else will do it right?
Wrong:
Every living person is like a piece to a massive puzzle,
the world being the puzzle
The more pieces added to the puzzle,
the closer it will get to completion
But if one piece is missing,
then the puzzle will never be complete
And if enough pieces are missing
Then there is no puzzle
We can all do our part, everybody makes a difference.
Well I hope you had fun. This page, like all the others, is always under construction so please come again and look for new updates. Please feel free to email me any comments. Oh and don't forget to sign my guestbook.
