~FOR MY SISTERS~ |
Here are two poems I wrote for my sisters. I hope you like them. |
LITTLE SISTER |
Soon you'll take a step Towards growing up Before my eyes your changing Your no longer a child, but You are still my little sister And that will never change Whether it be tomorrow Or ten years from today Once you would annoy me With your constant whining You were either yelling, screaming Or running to mom crying You'd try on my clothes You'd sneak in my room You'd follow me around When I'd come home from school You'd bother my boyfriends You'd bother my friends You walked around naked Until you were ten But now it is all over No more pole-tying games No more rollerskates and forts It has come to an end I'll miss you little sister But it is time to move on Those times were great But now they are gone Soon you'll get older And forget the past But sis I'll still love ya I always have So on this day I say goodbye But I also say Hello Because the child inside you may be gone But the adults just starting to grow I may not be able to be there Everytime your in pain But if you ever need your older sis I am just a phone call away Decicated to my sister Melissa |
A VERY SPECIAL SISTER |
Your a very special sister We've grown closer over time We've shared a lot of laughter We've shared a lot of cries Through it all you stuck by me No matter what it was Thank you for being there Thanks for all you've done We've shared a lifetime Although we fought a lot A bad sister You definately were not Through ex-boyfriends and breakups To parties and friends Through good times and bad times You were there in the end We fought constantly During our childhood But I wouldn't change a single thing Not even if I could I'll never forget the memories Tying Melissa to the pole Rollerskating on the porch Or late-night rock-n-bowl Playing spy games at bed time Or camp with powerhouse Or sneaking into grandma's room at xmas To check our presents out |
The haunted houses in the basement The forts in the yard out back The monthly garage sales Or selling cool-aid, "a quarter a glass" Those times I'll keep forever Safely locked away Where until the day I die They will always stay Well sis I love you Your one of my bestfriends And I hope we stay this close Until the very end Dedicated to my sister Tammie |
