The Hunter and The Hunted!

THE HUNTER AND THE HUNTED

(Melinda Lewis)

He lives amongst the beasts.

Sleek and meticulous are his moves.

Deception, his greatest skill.

Blind rage toward that which he disapproves.

Instinct and fear alert you when he is near.

Trembling begins as your body fills with fright.

Hungrily he seeks his prey.

There is darkness in the glaring light.

His eyes pierce your soul,

His words burn through your heart.

History reminds you, don't run.

A lesson learned from the start.

You are his prized possession.

No better trophy could he display.

"This bitch is mine," he often brags.

Please, just let me die you pray.

Through the mist you see him circle.

No doubt as to who will win.

Cold and merciless is the attack.

The hunter has won again.
