A Mother's Love Is Forever.
Dedicated to all the Women
Whom Have Ever Loved A
Child.
Happy Mother's Day!
I LOVED YOU ENOUGH
Author Unknown
Some
day when my children are old enough to understand
the
logic that motivates a mother, I will tell them:
I
loved you enough to ask you about where you were
going,
with whom, and what time you would get home.
I
loved you enough to insist that you buy a bike that
we
could afford to give you with your own money.
I loved you enough to be silent and let you discover
that
your hand-picked friend was a creep.
I
loved you enough to make you return a Milky Way with
a
bite out of it, to a drugstore and to confess: "I stole this."
I
loved you enough to stand over you for
two
hours while you cleaned your room, a job that
would
have taken me fifteen minutes.
I
loved you enough to let you see anger,
disappointment,
disgust, and tears in my eyes.
I
loved you enough to admit I was wrong and ask
for
your forgiveness.
I
loved you enough to let you stumble, fall and hurt.
I loved you enough to let you assume the responsibility
for
your actions at 6, 10 or 16.
But most of all, I loved you enough to say NO
when
you hated me for it.
That
was the hardest part of all.
When I became a mother, I began to understand
what my own mother had done for me.
Saying NO! is hard on a parent and children don't
always believe that..........until they too
are parents and have to use that terrible
word........NO!
And the hardest part of being a daughter
is admitting that Mom was right!
So to my own Mom who is an Angel
in God's Heavenly Band, I once
more say a great big
THANK YOU, MOM!
You loved me enough to say
that dreaded word, NO!
I love you!
M is
for the million things she gave me.
O means only that she's growing old.
T is for the tears she shed to save me.
H is for her heart as pure as gold.
E is for her eyes with love light shining.
R means right she is and will always be.
Put them all together they spell
M O T H E R
A word that means the world to me.
