- Sullen Wind
-
- Once upon a sullen wind, I lift my eyes to heaven's gate
- Hoping I am not too late to meet my lovely Rosalind
- I cross the speckled cobblestones, as I cast shadows where we met
- Arriving late to find you yet amid a pile of rotting bones.
- Was it so long that we were young and life had horrors unforseen
- Perhaps, tis we, the meadow, were green, and life, the bee, left us unstung.

- Life
-
-
- Carving an alcove out there in the snow
- Careful to give the support where it's needed
- While keeping the snowpack above as protection
- Fortifying the entrance with love and with stone.
-
- Though brother is lost between bottles and stations,
- His mom looks beyond him, not seeing his troubles,
- The sister--the daughter--stands still, here beside me
- She lets me be there so she isn't alone
-
- Our son is the strength that ties us all together
- As he sees the pain and the truth far too well
- Looking at the forest his mother has planted
- We all walk together, as one, on our own.

- Hot Rocker
-
- In the olden days of yore,
- Amid the golden days of gore,
- A mighty stillness came upon a slightly good medieval
- She stood alone amongst the trees
- As flowers lure the work of bees
- Moving stones out from her path while planning earth's upheaval
-
- CHORUS:
- And the wind blows warm tonight to chill a cold nightstalker
- As mere mortals join the fight, to kill a lone Hot Rocker
-
- Leaning up against a rock
- Which is part of a mighty clock
- The warriors did gather at the sacred land of Stonehenge
- Looking 'cross the land of rust
- They spied a single cloud of dust
- Which signaled their preparing for the sanctity of revenge
-
- Alas the night did finally fall
- Delivering a darkness wall
- Which shielded the warriors from all suspecting eyes
- A single mounted riding beast
- Came bounding up from beyond east
- Without suspecting peacfulness was swarming full of lies
-
- Killing the horse out from below
- As soon a fight began to grow
- While clashing arms reverberated with the huge endevor
- They pummeled her til she met death
- Then speaking with her final breath
- "Though you have won, too soon you'll find Hot Rock will live forever!"
