Dozen Cousins

A dozen cousins came to play,
At my house on a Saturday.
My mom was shopping at the mall.
They came to play the games of all.

Cousin one played with a doll
While Cousin two climbed up a wall.
Cousin three played pick-up-sticks
As Cousin four played tiddly winks.

Cousins five, six, seven and eight
Shot basketball ‘til really late.
Cousin nine and Cousin ten
Played kick the can all ‘round the den.

Cousin eleven played alone,
And honked on daddy’s saxophone.
To stay out of the disrepair,
My Cousin twelve played solitaire.

But soon my mom returned to stay,
And sent my cousins all away.
Through all the fun, as you can guess,
I was made to clean the mess.
