I am Wolf
Walk with me....
Learn who I am, for I am misunderstood.
As the sun sets into a violet sky,
Quietly I walk over our Mothers soil.
My senses keen to all knowledge....
My ears perked,
I listen & learn.
Hear me howl....
I call to my mate,
to my young ones,
to my pack.
Feel my playful spirit....
nudging, nibbling, mouthing, tugging....
stalking, pouncing, rolling & running....
bonding with my brothers & sisters.
Breathe with me....
feel the clean cool air enter & swirl through my body....
listen to the drumbeat of my heart.
Follow my tracks....
see with my eyes,
and know the secrets of the night.
Hear the echos of my cry,
calling us together again.
Together, our Spirits are one,
alive & running free!
Softly,
the pale moon casts shadows through the forest
beneath a raven sky....
Embrace my devotion....
my strength will protect you.
I will lay my love around you
and warm you with my thick, soft coat.
I am you,
I am me,
We are the Spirits of the Forest....
