This is a prayer from our Brother Winterhawk. Star and he shared the same Spirit!

Dear Father,

I pray to you this day,
For a fallen angel,
Taken from this ,
our earth mother,
and stolen from our hearts.

She was a tiny little one,
So full of life,
Her eyes sparkled,
and from her young heart,
poured love for all things.

Though she was a four legged,
a wolf,
my baby,
my spirit,
She was more than any words could say.

Under a year,
so playful,
such spirit,
she was a bundle of joy,
to all those who knew her,
and a close companion,
to her sister.

My tears flow,
My heart aches,
She touched me,
like no man or beast had done before.

Great Father,
she has come to you,
cradle her in your loving arms,
know that she is missed,
among her family,
and we pray Great Father,
that her name be added,
to your most sacred scrolls,
as she was but an infant,
an infant who touched the souls,
of so many.

This I pray to you this day,
I am Winterhawk, and she, this four legged, this brilliant STAR, that shone so briefly in my life, and touched so many others,

Thank You, WinterHawk for these beautiful words. Star's death has been very hard on all of us who Loved her, & this is a wonderful tribute.
We have tried many times to put feelings into words concerning her death, only to break down in tears. Feeling her pain, remembering her Loving, but strong Spirit, anger over the senseless way she was taken from us all....shot by a man with a gun, for no reason other than his own pleasure! This is something I will never understand.
