I use tables to better align my page and as an aid in spacing paragraphs etc. See the blinking cursor in the upper left of your page. Make sure it is at the very top by hitting your backspace until it is at the top of the page. To start a table that is invisible to your viewers (like used on this page) follow the steps below. If you would like to see how this page looks in Composer, click on File/Edit Page. This page will open with the dotted lines of the table visible to you. |
9. Click the Table button. |
10. Enter the following settings:
|
11. Now you are ready to start creating the content of your page. Remember that blinking bar. That is where you will type. Position this cursor in the top row of your table. This will start your text at the left edge of your table. To change the alignment click on the last button in the line above the page. Click the alignment of your choice. |
12. I save the very top row for my geoguide. By placing this geoguide on your page prevents the pop-up advertising from distracting your viewers. GO HERE to read about the geoguide. If you have questions or problems configuring your geoguide contact your Community Leader. |
To add the geoguide to your page:
|
13. You are now ready to start typing you text. Add your heading in the 2nd row. |
14. Add each paragraph in a separate row. |
