Tis a new year and were going home!!!! Next duty station ( the last one before we retire from service) is Connecticut! I will be adding a page about the New England States when we arrive! In the meanwhile take a day hike through some of our pages and our Friends sites! Enjoy.

Well, now your on the trail! What next may you ask? What everybody on the net wants to know? A little information about the author! Well, I shant disappoint you.....so here goes!!!

My name is Terry, most people on the net know me as Surf and my wife as Dolphin! We currently live on the island of Okinawa. Yes, it's a small island south of mainland Japan! You may ask yourself, ( isn't this a song? ) what is an American doing overseas? Well, I'm in the United States Navy. We have been serving our country for 18 years and loving the adventure! Our adventures have taken us around the world to exotic places like Diego Garcia, Madagascar, Persian Gulf, Oman, Singapore, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Guam, Wake Island,..... and the list goes on! If your not good at geography, well crack open a book and learn! Sorry, I tell my two little girls the same thing......LOL

Oh yes, our loving family! It consist of the basic family nucleus of Me and Dolphin....and our two wee ones....! My oldest, is 8 and having a great time here on Okinawa....she is our little island girl ( born in Honolulu Hawaii) She's like most girls her age....full of questions about every subject you can imagine!!! She is very bright and a great baseball player! Now, on to the little one.... She is 4 and is the resident bug/lizard chaser....or as she calls them wizards!!! Her outgoing disposition is a very endearing quality most people would appreciate! She does however, have a little temper at times.....but heck, most children do at this age!

This little passage would not be complete without saying a few words about my partner in life! What's there to say.....she is my everything! Tawnja, is a great mother and wonderful friend. She has sacraficed loads by being a Navy Wife, something most people couldn't manage. She would wave to me....as the ship pulled away from the peir....with tears streaming down her cheeks, broken heart, and a feeling of loneliness! She keeps the home fire burning and is always there to meet me when the ship comes in!

Lastly, I shant overdue the wordage!!! ME! I'm CHIEF to most! I work in Navy Medicine at U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa and love helping people in need. I have been blessed with many adventures and friends through my travels.....my only hope of the world is PEACE! My hobbies consist of learning web page authoring, the great outdoors..especially backpacking and yes......I do surf....the water type! I'm in love with the life long pursuit of learning....( a mind is a terrible thing to waste )!
