Poems written by Ronnie
Sometimes when we are all alone,
Lets look in our lifes mirror,
You'll be suprised how much this helps,
To see a little clearer.

We'll see the things We've said and done,
And then we'll realize,
These are some of the very things,
We're so quick to criticize.

The mirrors I mean are the eyes of God,
We must look in them on our knees,
When we close our eyes to the world around,
We can look at what God sees.

Let God take care of others,
The things they say and do,
Get on your knees and close you're eyes,
And take a look at you.

I'd like to share a thought with you,
God shared with me today,
It raised a lot of questions,
about the way I pray.

Do I expect a lot from God
yet sometimes fail to seek.
Do I expect God to hear
yet refuse to let him speak.

Do I dismiss my brothers needs
with just a passing prayer,
or consider them my burdens too
that I can help him bear.

Pray one for another
is what God shared with me.
I'll do all I can and pray for you
and ask you to pray for me.

Lord I'm afraid if I were you,
I could never really be,
as kind as you have always been
to all humanity.

All the cruel and evil things,
that people say and do,
yet everytime they cry for help,
you're there to pull them through.

Since man was first created,
he's always lived in sin,
Yet when he knocks upon you're door
you have always let him in.

Man has cursed your precious name
since time has first begun,
then to free him from his sin
you gave your only Son.

You've shown the love you had for him
when I'd have cast him dead.
When I'd have given misery
you gave him love instead.

I'm really glad that you are God
and not a man like me.
For you are the one and only hope
for all humanity.

The blood dripped from our Saviour's side
and fell upon the ground,
men gazed upon his broken face
yet uttered not a sound.

The only noise for miles around
was a rumble in the sky,
as darkness settled over head
all waited for him to die.

They took him from that tattered cross
he had bore alone that day,
his lifeless limbs fell by his side,
his skin had turned to grey.

Little did these same men know
on the third day just at dawn,
a look inside the cold dark tomb
would find our saviour gone.
