Counselling
-Psychotherapy>
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE ?
COUNSELLING is
concerned with a specific problem or area
in your life you may be
finding difficult - for example, an addiction.
PSYCHOTHERAPY
is usually concerned with developing personal
insight, awareness and self-knowledge.
We
work with the client therapist interaction as a means
of
coming to understand more about ways of being and patterns
of
behaviour in the world 'outside' therapy.
This requires rigorous listening to clients in a way that draws out
and
focuses on fundamental and underlying concerns and on
the
inner self-knowledge that acts as a basis for personal change
and
development.
We help clients use their
spiritual resources for growth and healing.

Couple
counselling:
We
also facilitate couple therapy or counselling for couples
who
are experiencing any number of difficulties in their relationship,
We
can help them discover new methods of communication,
conflict
resolution, new ways of relating and being together.
This
also can determine weather you want to stay together or separate.
While
emotional literacy can help with some amount
of
that, there are times when therapy may be indicated.

Life Coaching
People
occasionally need coaching in the sometimes complicated
or
confusing skills necessary for everyday living. For example,
maybe
you don't feel comfortable in social situations as you would like.
Perhaps
talking to someone in whom you have a romantic interest f
fills
you with dread or anxiety. Maybe talking to the boss seems impossible.
The
list could go on and on. The point is, we all could use a little coaching
from
time to time, and there is no reason for not getting it.
After
all, we all deserve to take responsibility for achieving the degree
of
comfort and satisfaction we desire from life.

"Destiny
is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice.
It
is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved."
